i couldnt find the pic, but a few years ago i took a giant garbage bag from the shop and used an entire roll of packing tape to tape the bag on the chair of this lady that worked in our office. I thought it was funny...her...not so much. haha

its about 200$ a descent one from the reading i did when i was looking for my CJ5.
this was an ez swap since the box and vent system was there with a non leaking core. i put a 250CFM marine blower in it that really blasts.... ran the wires and im done.

I would like to introduce my new 1949 CJ3a
Spents its whole life on a hunting camp in the southern tier so there is no rot on the frame or body.. just good old 59yr rust..
Plans are..
1. get the stupid hilbilly half top off.
2. go through the drivetrain (that is still in good shape with 40K on it) replace parts as needed..
3. New body and interior..
4. Saturn overdirve
I plan on a body off restoration... meaning just cosmetic..
of course I will prep and clean as I go.. but im not fixing what isnt broken after 59 years...
drivetain just needs tweeking a few new parts...

1949 CJ3a.. 6volt and stock..
drivetrain is in great shape except for a few little issues..
manifolds, carb, tune up..
D18 is leaking or gunked up.. too cold to get under and get a real evaluation..
I would like to re seal and overdrive before I spend 7K on doing a body off cosmetic rebuild..
Ill throw some pics up when i get into the office

thats a little odd, im looking for an adapter for my cable to my CB as well, haven't really looked yet because i have been busy at the shop.
I got a 10' cable with my new diesel antenna's but its to short to reach and have enough room to hide the cables
so no one can rip my antenna wire outta the back of my CB haha
