I believe it is nessary to remove a ford modular motor to service the heads. by the time you do that it is little more to replace it. Vern

This the third battery you've placed in the vehicle and suddenly the engine starts. The battery swap didn't, the charging didn't but now a new battery does

We put a good battery in last night, and it fired right up. Now, onward to the other issues....CEL due to EGR code. But, at least it's running :)
